Two years after he took the reins at Computacenter Distribution (CCD), Lee Perkins is returning to Computer 2000 (C2000).
Perkins previously held the role of UK director of Azlan, the enterprise and networking division of C2000. His new role, starting 1 November, will be country manager of broadline at C2000.
To coincide with the move, C2000 has also announced that Alice Smitheman has been appointed as marketing director with full responsibility across the entire business, spanning the Azlan, Datech, Maverick and Brightstar business as well as the broadline business.
In a statement Andy Gass, managing director of C2000, said: "These two key strategic appointments add further strength and depth to C2000's experienced management team. Lee is a highly capable and motivated individual and we are delighted to be welcoming him back. I am very confident that he will do an excellent job in helping us to achieve our strategic goals and growth plans. Alice’s move to the dedicated role of marketing director is equally important and gives us a clear and definitive focus on developing our demand generation activities to drive growth. These appointments enable us to focus more of our efforts and management resources on channel development.”
