CA Technologies is offering resellers up to 40 per cent margin on its CA Recovery Management and Data Modelling (RMDM) products.
Its latest initiative – Go Further with Deal Registration – eliminates the minimum order requirements on all CA Arcserve orders and raises upfront margins and back-end rebates on Arcserve and Erwin sales.
CA changed its name to CA Technologies earlier this year to reflect the next stage of the company’s development.

The deal runs until 31 March next year and is valid for CA RMDM partners across EMEA that register approved Arcserve or Erwin product deals during the promotional period (15 June 2010 to 31 March 2011).
Chris Ross, vice president of RMDM EMEA and APAC at CA, said: “We want CA resellers to do more, get more and save more. Through this promotion, CA partners can gain a significant advantage in the marketplace with improved margins of up to 40 per cent. Our ultimate ambition for this campaign is for CA Technologies and its partners to achieve more together.”
On the same day, CA announced a partnership with distributor Westcoast to supply its Arcserve suite of products, including the recently launched R15 version, to the Irish channel.
The vendor claimed the deal will help it engage with more partners in Ireland whose customers need their assets and data protecting.
Chris Bowring, channel sales director, Northern Europe RMDM at CA, said: “We are very pleased to be announcing this partnership with Westcoast Ireland. In today’s tough market conditions, it is important for our customers to diversify into new technologies and ideas.”
David Dunne, sales director at Westcoast, said: “CA Technologies is well established in the marketplace and known for many years for reliable suites of back-up and data restore products. The launch of Arcserve R15 will further cement its position as a company that offers a host of products designed to meet the needs of all types of customers.”
