VAR Genesis Communications has rebranded to reflect its transformation into an outsourcing specialist and is on the lookout for both acquisitions and new channel partners.

Under its new name, Outsourcery, the firm was named as the sole UK launch partner for Microsoft’s communications services partner programme last week, offering unified communications with voice access and call management to the SME market through its reseller network.

Piers Linney, joint chief executive of Outsourcery, said: “One of the most important things is our channel and we want to get breadth of product for our channel partners. We are going to provide platform, training and support.

“Our aim is to become the leading provider of communications and hosted IT solutions in the UK. We will do everything in our power to become that, whether it is through organic growth or acquisition,” he said.
