Network storage vendor Compellent Technologies has signed VAR Solid State Solutions Limited (S3) to increase its UK presence.
Under the terms of the partnership, S3 will resell the Compellent Storage Center, the vendor’s storage area network (SAN) offering, as part of its storage and networking solutions portfolio.
S3 will gain access to the vendor’s online partner portal, which includes lead registration, quote generation and a selection of other online resources.

Andy Hardy, managing director of international sales at Compellent, said S3's client list - which includes Lloyds TSB, Fitzpatrick, Infoterra and the British Library - will increase its reach into key vertical markets.
Gurdip Kalley, vendor relationship manager at S3, said: “We are extremely impressed by Compellent’s innovative approach to data management and business continuity. This, combined with its 100 per cent channel model, gives us a tangible advantage when bidding on new business opportunities.
