Fujitsu Technology Solutions has given its storage partners a training boost by allowing them to gain skills and get certified online.
The hardware vendor has made storage training available to partners via its Online Certification Centers (OCC). This means they can become familiar with its ETERNUS solutions range and gain the status of SELECT Expert for storage over the web.
The move will save partners the time they would have spent travelling and in real-life classes, Fujitsu said.

Resellers can access the online certification modules via Fujitsu’s partner portal where they study the relevant material. Students can learn using the attached e-Learning modules, the PowerPoint documents or a combination of both.
The online training includes lessons on the benefits and details of Fujitsu’s products and solutions. It also enables partners to do analysis and consulting to help their customers identify their needs and the right solutions and infrastructure for their individual business, the vendor said.
Darren Neath, channel sales manager at Fujitsu Technology Solutions, said: “Our online certifications save time and money, making it as easy as possible for these resellers to become SELECT Experts.”
