Document management applications provider Infonic has outlined plans to expand into the SME market via reseller partnerships.
James Adie, EMEA channel director for document management products at Infonic, said the developer has decided to roll out a channel programme to attract resellers for its latest SME application, Document Manager Business Edition.
“The problem with enterprise document management is that it is very consultancy-led,” said Adie. “That is costly and time consuming. There has never been an SME focus.

“Two or three years ago, five to 10 per cent of our business was channel. This year we are aiming for 60-70 per cent of our business to be through resellers.”
Incentives are running for ‘early adopters’ including discounts until 30 September.
Toni Redman, channel manager at Adobe, said: “Our recent research with Forrester has shown that knowledge workers are dissatisfied with their current methods for handling documents and are keen to find new tools that will help them stand out from the crowd.”
