Fast-growing VAR Nebulas Solutions Group has injected more than £250,000 into its demonstration lab since its launch last month to help push the latest technologies to its customers.
The lab allows customers to book time slots and product demonstrations from Nebulas’ extensive technical team, enabling them to try out the technology before buying.
Vendors that have thrown their weight behind the lab, include Blue Coat, Juniper, Riverbed, IronPort, F5 Networks, WMware, Guardium and Check Point. The lab also includes some of the latest PC and networking equipment from Dell and Cisco to help customers mirror their own environments.

On top of this, Nebulas has also created vLab, a purpose built virtualisation test and demo facility to showcase VMware’s offerings.
Nick Garlick, managing director of Nebulas Group, said: “Since the Lab opened last month, we have had at least 25 customers coming here to trial different technologies. Customers are keen to see what new technology can do, but they won’t implement something that they have not tried or seen working for another organisation.
“The Lab is the ideal solution; it is a controlled environment where they can experiment without any risk to their production environments. All our technologies are used in the Lab, so customers can compare different offerings and assess which would be the most appropriate for them.”
