Networking vendor Brocade and security specialist McAfee have launched a series of partner enablement tools to help VARs to sell their new range of jointly developed products.
The vendors claim that the offerings provide end-to-end network security and feature automated threat response and firewall load-balancing capabilities.
Alex Thurber, senior vice president of worldwide channels at McAfee, said: “Pulling from the strengths of both companies, this strategic partnership has resulted in new joint solutions that provide simplified monitoring and management of IT security in a way that has never been done before.”

To help support the sale of the products, McAfee and Brocade have launched a series of sales and marketing programmes aimed at partners accredited to sell products from both vendors.
The programmes include use cases and awareness campaigns to help partners design solutions that solve the common problems customers face when implementing network security.
Amanda Giddins, EMEA channels director at Brocade, said: “Through this partnership, Brocade and McAfee are united through a common vision to provide opportunities for the channel to increase profitability via the delivery of simplified, open standards-based network security solutions.”
