Peripherals vendor Logitech is to expand its partner reach in the UK.
The vendor, best known for its mice and keyboards, is seeing increased demand for its webcams, headsets and extensive gaming peripherals range. It also unveiled a business-focused range of peripherals two years ago, which it claims is gathering pace.
Yehia Oweiss, regional director at Logitech UK, said: “We are channel driven and work with all the major distributors, such as Ingram Micro, Tech Data, Gem, Enta and VIP.
“One of our plans for this year is to get more resellers on board, particularly small business resellers. Our retail focus is strong, but we have a lot to offer the business customer as well. We also want the channel to have an easy experience in doing business with us, so we would love partners to let us know what we can do for them.”
The vendor already has a dedicated partner portal the Logitech Channel Network, which is due to be enhanced over the coming year.
Simon Lee, commercial director of distributor Gem, said his firm has a strong partnership with the vendor. “We have a two-way relationship with Logitech. We try to push on as much as we can for it, and in turn Logitech has been proactive when it comes to helping us drive sales.”
