Channel firms have showed well in Best Companies' annual list of the UK's top workplaces.
Best Companies compiles a yearly rundown of the UK's top employers and the 2010 list will be published later this year. More than 1,000 companies applied for accreditation, with just 50 being awarded top-level, three-star rating.
Among those were VARs Softcat and ANS Group, attaining the status for the third and second year in a row, respectively.

A two-star badge was given to 140 companies this year, including channel players Computerlinks, Chess Telecom, JMC IT, ACS Office Solutions and Intrinsic Technologies.
ANS managing director Paul Sweeney stressed the importance of minimising staff churn and assuring end users of his firm's credentials.
"This is a great accolade," he said. "We do high-end consultancy and critical projects and customers know they will be dealing with highly motivated individuals."
