Wireless LAN (WLAN) vendor Meru Networks has signed its fourth UK distributor in the shape of the Westcon Group.
The distributor's Westcon Convergence arm will have access to the vendor's entire portfolio and is also certified to provide the full set of Meru training courses. Westcon indicated it will go after business in the education, healthcare, hospitality, retail and logistics markets.
Meru already works with UK distribution partners Siracom, Sphinx and 802 Global. The vendor's vice president of international sales Dave Kelly claimed the two companies' existing relationship in other territories could be smoothly transitioned to the UK.
