DNS Arrow has launched an online tool that will enable resellers to develop tailored marketing campaigns based on their vendors’ plans for forthcoming quarters.
The distributor has revamped its Virtual Marketing Manager tool to help VARs plan marketing campaigns months in advance by providing details of key manufacturers’ planned activities for the year.
Currently HP, NetApp and Sun are covered by the tool. Julie Gibbs, marketing director for DNS Arrow, said the distributor would look to add more, including security vendors Symantec and Check Point, over the coming months.

The new offering provides resellers with tools including marketing templates, case studies, sales tools, brochures and telemarketing scripts. Virtual Marketing Manager is powered by software house J Limited.
Andrew Broadhead, head of marketing at reseller RichardsoNEyres, said: “Other tools are typically on a campaign-by-campaign basis. We have a structured view of the year. What we want to do in the fourth quarter, although not set in stone, is on the agenda. Now we can align our activities with our vendors.”
