DNS Arrow has become the first UK distributor to be awarded Symantec Education Partner status.
The accolade means that DNS Arrow will now provide fully authorised training services for VARs in three locations around the country London, Reading and Harrogate.
Matthew Procter, sales and business development manager at DNS Arrow Training Services, said: “We have training services divisions across Europe and try to offer training services that match our product set. In the past, we have offered our own Symantec training developed in-house, but it is nice to receive official recognition from a vendor.”
Initially, the training will centre around four of Symantec’s storage products: NetBackup, Backup Exec, Enterprise Vault and Cluster Server. However, Procter said Arrow plans to extend it to other Symantec products, including its security portfolio.
