Epson is making its GT-1500 business scanners half price to resellers until the end of March.
The promotion starts on 1 February and is intended to encourage customers.
“To take advantage of this offer, customers simply purchase the Epson GT-1500 through a reseller,” the vendor said in a statement.

“The cost saving will be directly passed on to the channel through distributors. Terms and conditions apply. However, Epson’s half-price warranty offer, public sector three-year warranty offer and public sector pricing can still be claimed in conjunction with this promotion.”
Epson claims the GT-1500 scanner is fast, reliable and easy to use.
The announcement follows one in December of a January half-price clearance of its lasers.
The vendor's financial results are due on 29 January.
Globally, the company reported a 27 per cent contraction in its net sales for the six months ended September 2009, down from the same six-month period the previous year. That represented net sales of $4.9bn (£3bn), a loss of $323m for all of Seiko Epson Corporation.
Epson was contacted for further comment but had not responded at press time.
