Mukesh Gupta: "The technology is aimed at SMEs and larger firms"

Specialist distributor e92plus has signed a deal to become the primary distribution partner in the UK for Wi-Fi vendor Xirrus.

Under the partnership, e92plus will work with Xirrus, which competes with players such as Cisco, Trapeze, Aerohive and Bluesocket, to help it build its channel partner base in the UK.

According to the vendor, its Wi-Fi Array promises more coverage, bandwidth, throughput and support for more users on a per-device and system basis than any other offering in the industry, reducing the number of devices needed by 75 per cent.

Mukesh Gupta, managing director of e92plus, said: “The technology is aimed at both SMEs and larger firms – it has seen particular success in the healthcare and education sectors so far. We are now looking to recruit partners on their behalf.

“Working as their sole UK distributor means that we can together provide all the support VARs require to sell and deploy the products.”
