Distributor's Channel Premier League event is won in a close battle by Comtec Enterprises

Distributor e92plus got into World Cup mode recently with its Channel Premier League tournament in Surrey.

Now in its third year, the tournament featured teams fielded from channel players such as 2e2, Comtec Entetprises, Blue Saffron, Charterhouse Voice and Data, Krome Technologies, Caretower, Barracuda Networks and Swift Computing.

The tournament was eventually won by Comtec Enterprises, which beat other finalist 2e2 UK 2-0 to take the trophy and the title.

Steve Earwicker, a representative from Comtec, said: “The games were played in the right spirit and the football was of a surprisingly good standard which made Comtec winning the tournament even sweeter.

“We are looking forward to seeing a few of the teams and defending Comtec Enterprises' title next year,” he added.
