Software giant SAP has nabbed former Oracle senior director, Hazel Nash, to help in its mission of securing 100,000 customers worldwide by 2010.
With 20 years’ industry experience under her belt, Nash joins the vendor as director of channel for UK and Ireland, with the aim to drive SAP’s partner channel, particularly in the SME space.
Simon Etherington, head of SME at SAP UK and Ireland, said: “Hazel’s appointment is a real coup for us. Her experience at Oracle means that she has a deep understanding of the UK SME reseller market and has excellent ties to some of the main players in this area.

SAP recently announced net profit for 2008's first nine months plunged 11 per cent on 2007 to €1.038bn, despite a 15 per cent revenue increase to €8.079bn.
