Virtualisation giant VMware has launched an online virtual campus for its partners.
Announced today at VMworld Europe 2009 in Cannes, the Partner University is available through VMware's Partner Central Portal.
The training will be split into individual tracks for partners wanting to train in sales, pre-sales and post-sale professional services.

Carl Eschenbach, European vice president for worldwide operations at VMware, used his keynote opening speech at VMworld Europe to encourage partners to sign up.
"We have taken all of our training and combined it under one umbrella to make it easier for partners to become educated around solutions, services and products," he said.
"The training is also divided into competencies to support partners in taking a specific solution to market. These include infrastructure virtualisation, desktop virtualisation and business continuity."
An additional feature of VMware's virtual campus is the vendor's competitive accreditation programme (VCAP).
VCAP enables partners to learn about their competitive landscape, differentiating them in the market.
"For 2009 VMware will continue to be channel led and will continue to educate so we can go to market with you," concluded Eschenbach.
