Atherton: Partnering with Freecom just made sense

Distributor EntaTech will now offer its partner base a range of external hard drives and portable storage devices from vendor Freecom.

The partnership aims to expand Freecom’s reach into new markets via EntaTech’s UK channel.

David Pye, UK channel manager at Freecom, said: “With access to the top buying groups, as well as niche industrial players throughout the UK, EntaTech is an ideal choice of partner for us as we begin to step into new markets.

“By combining our diverse product range with EntaTech’s expertise in this sector, this should prove to be a very successful partnership for us both.”

Jon Atherton, group vice president of EntaTech, said partnering with Freecom was a logical step.

"The company has a great product line and strong reputation within the industry, which truly help it stand out from the crowd and make it the perfect addition to our existing product portfolio," he said.

“We live in a society highly dependent on information. This, coupled with the fact that all businesses need reliable and secure storage means we are in a strong position to capitalise on this market.”
