Distributor Horizon Software, part of Avnet Technology Solutions has been given the green light to support BEA VARs after Oracle’s recent acquisition of the vendor.
Horizon, which is Oracle’s exclusive value added distributor in the UK, will also assist BEA partners to become Oracle partners and gain access to its product portfolio.
Mickey Bharat, Horizon Software director, said: “Horizon is a safe pair of hands for BEA partners as we are a 100 per cent channel distributor with no conflict of interest.

“Our pricing is competitive and our primary focus is on providing a host of support services and facilities to make life easy, particularly when a BEA partner needs to navigate around the Oracle organisational structure which is unknown to them and on a massive scale.”
Bharat added: “Oracle’s addition of BEA will accelerate innovation by the bringing together of two companies with a common vision of a modern SOA infrastructure. Our aim is to further increase the value we offer to the Oracle partner community by broadening our range of support services for partners to include BEA.”
