Security vendor Webroot is gearing up for a consumer push after appointing distributor Entatech, and taking on several new staff in EMEA.
Entatech will carry Webroot’s range of home and small office web security solutions, including its Internet Security Essentials and AntiVirus with Spy Sweeper offerings.
Its appointment coincides with the launch of Webroot’s new consumer and small office partner programme, which promises to help resellers boost revenue and develop their expertise.
Several key appointments have also been made to support Webroot’s consumer push across EMEA. This includes the addition of Germaine Page as EMEA acquisition marketing manager, Tim Maynard as UK & Ireland sales manager and William Lewis as EMEA business development manager.
David Bennett, director EMEA consumer business development, said: “Our channel of resellers, independent retailers and etailers is extremely important to the success of the aggressive expansion plan Webroot has in place for EMEA.
“This new partner programme has been designed to provide our partners with the greatest of financial and practical support, as they strive to retain their place in a competitive market.”
