Encryption vendor Becrypt has appointed a fifth UK distributor in the form of Security IP to help it crack the large enterprise space.
Security IP will offer Becrypt’s suite of data security products, including its DISK Protect full-disk encryption solution for laptops and desktops and its Trusted Client secure remote working solution.
UK-based Becrypt already works with distributors Computer 2000, Sigma, Blue Solutions and Arc Technology.

The latest agreement is designed to increase its corporate footprint.
Clive Larkin, vice president of business development at Becrypt, said: “Security IP adds a new dimension by providing the expertise and resources required to offer qualified presales consultancy with first and second level after-sales support.”
Security IP said the agreement would allow it to provide encryption from impact level 1 to impact level 7 as specified by the UK Government and Ministry of Defence, making it an attractive supplier for corporate resellers.
Security IP managing director, Andi Robinson, said: “We are fortunate to have such good technology on our doorstep at a time when awareness and the demand for data protection is growing.”
