Networking behemoth Cisco is launching a new UK channel programme to offer increased resources to VARs focused on the consumer and small-business markets.
The Cisco Consumer Channel Network will assist resellers selling the Linksys by Cisco range of Connected Home Products.
Partners will benefit from training, technical support, sales tools and marketing and PR resources. Additional features will be rolled out as the programme develops and Cisco VARs can join the scheme by accessing the new Linksys by Cisco web site.

Ulrike Tegtmeier, Cisco's vice president of European markets, said: “We have found that resellers want channel initiatives specifically tailored to consumer products.
"Our partners are asking for the training, sales and marketing tools to enhance their business for their home-based office clients, high-tech home customers and very small business owners with about five employees. The Cisco Consumer Channel Network is in its first phase and we will be bringing additional features and offerings over the coming year.”
