Cabling and networking distributor Mayflex is to open a new office in central London later this month.
Birmingham-based Mayflex claimed the move will allow it to respond to the demands of its customer base in the capital more effectively.
Andrew Percival, Mayflex’s managing director, said: “London is a key market for our sector and we see this new office as an important part of our growth plans for the future.”

The new office – located close to the Swiss Re building (known as the Gherkin) in the financial district of the city – will be home to a newly recruited, London-focused sales team and will open its doors for the first time on 16 November.
It will also feature a demonstration suite that will allow clients to try out Mayflex’s products before buying.
“We want this to be an office that people can come and visit so we can support them correctly,” Percival added. “With the demonstration suite, we want our client base to come to the office and look at and evaluate the products themselves.”
