ANS hopes for security crown

Manchester-based reseller ANS has emerged as a frontrunner in the race to be crowned Cisco’s first Master Security partner in the UK.

Although more than 10 resellers have gained the status globally since its launch in 2006, no UK firms have yet bagged the top-level badge.
Scott Fletcher, managing director of ANS, said: “We want to push to be the first in Europe. We have already invested £300,000 in equipment and accreditations.”
John Donovan, UK managing director of UK and Ireland channels at Cisco, said: “The Master specialisations are a high bar and we did not expect many partners to go for it.”
