Archiving and data management vendor QStar has formalised its channel programme and is hunting for vertical-specific resellers.
QStar has traditionally focused on OEM relationships with the likes of Plasmon but plans to increase the number of VARs it works with in the UK, starting with the formalisation of its partner programme.
Steve Tongish, global marketing director at QStar, said: “QStar had a UK channel before, but things are more formal now with marketing and development funds added for resellers, along with software demo and case study programmes.

“We have about half a dozen VARs on board at present but want two or three in each key market area for QStar: the datacentre; medical industry; and broadcast market.”
QStar signed CMS Peripherals last quarter, joining Kofax and Fortuna in its distributor lineup.
