Application acceleration software start-up Replify has inked a UK distribution agreement with Softek.

Northern Ireland-based Replify was only founded in 2007. Members of its principal management team have worked at the likes of F5 Networks and Swan Labs.

Softek will carry Replify’s Reptor Accelerator Suite, a software-only solution for WAN optimisation and application acceleration.

Kevin Donaghy, chief executive at Replify, said: “Softek has recognised the huge advantages a software approach to WAN optimisation has over hardware alternatives.”

Mike Bienvenu, technical director at Softek, said: “The software-only approach provides organisations with much-improved user experience and can be deployed in any network, risk free, in minutes. We are delighted to have the Reptor suite as part of our product portfolio.”
