Distributor Imago has launched a programme to reward partners that have achieved authorised reseller status with selected Imago manufacturers.
The Elite Reseller Scheme offers qualifying resellers better margins when they buy selected products from the participating vendors, which include Polycom, Sony, Sonic Foundry, NEC, Samsung and Unicol.
Ian Vickerage, managing director at Imago, told CRN: “This is a long-term scheme. It is only open to resellers that are authorised or certified dealers of the vendors we work with.”
Under the scheme, Imago will offer resellers bundles of products, as well as regular bulletins about priority product news.
Joel Chimoindes, operations manager at videoconferencing VAR Videonations, said: “Anything like this is always encouraged. A lot of distributors have stopped offering rebate schemes because there is no margin in products.”
