The long wait is over. The Channel Awards 2008 shortlist is now online and ready to receive votes.
Judging day for the awards took place last week, with many of the categories hotly contested and almost too close to call. The judging panel was forced to resort to a show of hands on many occasions.
With more than 250 entries to get through and the quality of entry often surpassing last year, picking the shortlisters was no easy task. To make the shortlist is itself a sign of great achievement.
Winners will now be chosen as a result of the online voting process so it is vital to ensure you get the votes pouring in from partners and customers before voting closes on 10 October. Personal email addresses such as Yahoo and Hotmail will be discounted, as will block voting.
All the finalists will be announced at the Channel Awards 2008 ceremony on 13 November at Battersea Park Events Arena in London.
