Arc Technology has signed a formal UK distribution agreement with Imperva Networks - one of three vendors it inherited through its recent acquisition by Exclusive Networks.

Chris Walsh, sales director at Arc, said: “Exclusive did not have the reseller contacts we do. Imperva did look at another distributor but it liked our business plan.”
He added that Arc had a track record of growing emerging technologies, citing Safeboot as an example.
Walsh said Arc has been tasked with doubling Imperva’s reseller base to 10 and claimed his top systems integrator partners had already shown interest.
“Everyone is trying to sell encryption. Imperva is something that is the next level of data protection,” he said.
