Online reseller eXpansys has become the first to secure Premier Partner status with T-Mobile in the UK.

The mobile network operator's three tier channel programme was originally launched last year (CRN, 8 October) and has since recruited around450 resellers.

Adrian Williams, head of OEM and IT channel partners for T-Mobile, said: “eXpansys has established an excellent reputation within the IT channel and T-Mobile is delighted to have it onboard. We see its specialist channel expertise in selling mobile communications technology to business users as a perfect fit for our portfolio of products and services.”

"Businesses are increasingly looking to their IT partners to meet all their mobile communication needs. This announcement highlights the enthusiasm with which T-Mobile’s IT Channel Partner Programme has been greeted within the channel community,” added Williams

Roger Butterworth, chief executive of eXpansys, said: “eXpansys feel the benefits of T-Mobile’s scheme will really help it to streamline the buying process for end users.”

In addition, to the benefits offered to its Partners and Preferred Partners in the programme, eXpansys will receive extra services such as pre-launched product reviews and sales training to provide its customers with better support.
