PC vendor Fujitsu Technology Solutions has strengthened its partner account management team as it prepares to unveil its enlarged portfolio to the channel.
The vendor will hold a channel event in June to give partners an opportunity to hear how the brand is evolving under new, 100 per cent owner Fujitsu.
Commenting on the forthcoming event, Gary Fowle, channels director at Fujitsu Technology Solutions, said: “We want to reassure partners that we are still a channel organisation and give details of our product portfolio. This includes access to the Eternus storage systems, which were previously not available through us.

“Our expectations for the next three, six and 12 months will be made clear.”
Fowle said the vendor has recently added three new recruits to its IL partner account management team, meaning eight staff are solely dedicated to the channel.
Fujitsu’s IT Future and Channel Conference will be held at the Belfry, near Birmingham, on 11 June. The company expects the event to be attended by about 100 resellers and its distributors.
The vendor will also run breakouts, including a timely session from Microsoft on Windows 7.
