Vendor Motorola is bringing its enterprise, government and public safety partners under one umbrella after unveiling a new channel programme.
The launch of PartnerEmpower comes a year after Motorola combined its Enterprise Mobility arm with its Government and Public Safety arm to form Motorola Enterprise Mobility Solutions (EMS).
PartnerEmpower will be carved into three tracks to reflect EMS’ three core technology areas of wireless network solutions, mobility and radio.

Motorola stressed that existing programmes will remain unchanged as it gradually rolls out the three tracks in stages over the next 18 months.
Partners can also earn designations as a PartnerEmpower Specialist or Elite Specialist.
Janet Schijns, vice president of global channels, Motorola Enterprise Mobility Solutions, said: “With a single channel programme, Motorola is enhancing our relationship with channel partners, focusing our attention on benefits and resources that offer the most value to partners, and establishing processes and competency programmes that help partners go to market more profitably.”
