Corporate reseller Insight Enterprises has begun the hunt for a new head honcho following the sudden departure of Richard Fennessy.
Having successfully grown Insight into a Fortune 500 company, long-standing president and chief executive Fennessy has left “to pursue other opportunities”.
Insight has immediately installed director Anthony Ibargüen – former chief operating officer at distributor Tech Data – as interim president and chief executive, but has initiated a “global search” for a permanent replacement.

NASDAQ-listed Insight used the announcement to re-iterate that it is on track to meet its previous earnings forecast for 2009.

“Insight’s next president and chief executive officer will lead a company with a sound business strategy, talented team-mates and deep partner and client relationships.
