Tech Data Europe is offering resellers an online configurator for finding and ordering consumables.
The distribution group said in a statement that its new Supplies Configurator is a feature of its InTouch web-based product information, availability and ordering system.
Hugo Graca, commercial director of supplies and peripherals at Tech Data Europe, said the online tool may help resellers sharpen their edge in consumables sales.

“Tech Data prides itself on providing best-in-class online tools,” he said.
“The new tools and improved user interface will enable resellers to find and order the products that they need swiftly and efficiently, enabling them to offer a more responsive service to their customers and drive incremental supplies business.”
Resellers will get simplified access to products from leading supplies vendors, including inkjet or laser cartridges and paper supplies.
Key features include an ability to search by main vendor and product line or by model and enhanced free-text search capabilities with auto-correction, 'Did you mean'-style suggestions and wild-cards, according to Tech Data.
