Distributor Interactive Ideas has introduced a partner support team to help resellers keep track of the revenues generated through software subscription renewals.
The creation of the Software Renewals team comes hot on the heels of the opening of Interactive’s new Enfield headquarters last November, a move the firm said would allow it to double its headcount.
Multimedia technology and digital broadcast graduate Haleem Hoque is the first of many renewal specialists the firm plans to recruit over the next six to 12 months.

Mike Trup, managing director at Interactive Ideas, said: “Software licensing and subscriptions is complex enough at the best of times, but when you add the complexities of co-termination, upgrades, downgrades and all the other variants, managing renewal data alone is confusing.
“By building our renewals team and data engine, we aim to help both our vendors and reseller partners maximise the business opportunity presented by renewals.”
Nigel Wright, sales director at Interactive vendor partner Abtech UK, said: “Abtech always strives to keep customers fully informed of the status of their subscriptions and provide accurate information when they need to renew them.
"Having a dedicated renewals resource available at Interactive Ideas will certainly enhance the service we offer."
