Clustered storage vendor Isilon Systems has unveiled an EMEA partner programme to support its expansion in the region.
The vendor last week opened new offices in London, Paris and Munich. to help it expand its global presence. Isilon also unveiled Smart Partner, its supplementary EMEA channel programme.
Steve Jenkins, vice-president of Isilon Systems EMEA, said in a statement: “We are committed to providing the same high level of support and opportunity to our EMEA channel [as in North America and Asia].”
Smart Partner is a channel sales programme that the vendor has claimed will allow its channel partners to expand their businesses. It has three tiers: Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Phil Crocker, EMEA marketing director at Isilon Systems, told CRN: “We are actively expanding our EMEA partner channel. We want to be transparent and work 100 per cent through our partners in the region.”
The vendor added that it is in discussions with prospective Smart Partner candidates in the UK, Germany, France and the Nordic region to target vertical markets.
David Galton-Fenzi, group sales director at storage distributor Zycko, the first UK partner to join the programme, said: “Isilon has shown commitment to supporting EMEA with marketing and technical resources to help us deliver its advances in the technology to market.”
