Software giant CA has appointed a former Dell exec to drive its channel growth plans in the UK.
Mike Feltwell, who was previously public sector sales manager, government and defence at Dell, has taken on the role of director of strategic alliances and public sector sales at CA.
His role will be to oversee CA's entire channel business unit and he will report into Mark Bridger, UK and Ireland regional manager.
Bridger said: "We are delighted to welcome Mike to CA into this new UK senior management role. I created this role to bring together our channel business in order to drive channel growth and to strengthen the CA value proposition and our relationships with our partners. With Mike's background he has the key credentials required to accelerate the strengthening and growth of our entire UK Indirect route to market. The creation of this position also further highlights CA increasing focus on its channel business."
Feltwell said: "I am excited to be joining CA at a great time for the Channel with some key initiatives for partners having recently been announced at CA World. I also look forward to meeting all of our partners over the coming year."
