Electronics giant LG Electronics has announced its first foray into the B2B channel.
The vendor, best known for its consumer and white goods range, is set to take the wraps off its Business Solutions Partner Programme at an official launch on 3 December. The UK is one of only three countries picked to unveil its business channel strategy - the other two being Germany and China.
LG claims the launch signifies its intent to grow and develop its B2B channel, and will create "significant opportunities" for UK resellers.
Part of the Business Solutions Programme is a Partner Portal, offering partners access to sales and marketing campaigns, technical support, product information, benefits and reward programmes, profile management tools, news and events from LG, and communication with the LG sales team.
Barrie Guy, UK general manager, LG Business Solutions, said: “We have spoken
and listened to the B2B channel. The Business Solutions Partner Programme and
Portal will enable us to build synergistic relationships, bringing together all
the elements partners want and need to take advantage of LG’s business solutions
in areas such as network monitors, digital signage, projectors and data storage
in the UK market.”
LG is looking to recruit UK-based VARs with expertise in audiovisual,
hotel/hospitality, education, government/public sector, retail, direct market
and SME.
The official channel programme launch is taking place at the Saatchi Gallery in London on Thursday 3 December.
Resellers that attend the event and register to join the Partner Programme and Portal will also be automatically entered into a draw to win prizes, including an all-expenses-paid holiday for two in Tuscany, an LG Business Solutions product bundle, an LG Business Solutions network monitor bundle, MDF and an LG home entertainment system.
Other prizes, including VIP tickets to events at the LG Arena and Premiership football matches at Fulham FC, will be available through the prize draw.
