Azlan has signed a pan-European deal with Proxim Wireless to distribute its broadband wireless network technology.

Under the deal, Azlan, the networking arm of Computer 2000, will have access to Proxim's full range of Wireless LAN, Wi-Fi mesh, WiMAX and point-to-point backhaul offerings.

Lionel Chmilewsky, executive vice president of worldwide sales at Proxim Wireless, said: "This pan-European agreement with Azlan significantly heightens our profile within the networking VAR community in Europe and gives us access to a much larger potential market.
