Specialist distributor e92plus is planning to plough more funds into its dedicated partner portal to help resellers maximise opportunities.
The firm has spent the past year sharpening its reseller portal by working with its vendor base to offer a range of benefits, including tailored access to pricing and the use of its Geo-mapping tool, which enables the distributor to generate detailed marketing reports for resellers based on their customer activity in different geographical locations.
Mukesh Gupta, managing director of e92plus, said each time a reseller logs on, information for its eyes only is displayed.

“The portal offers pricing and rewards that are unique to each reseller,” he said. “Our Geo tool will help resellers with their marketing plans perhaps to target customers that have stopped ordering, and to keep regular customers updated with new information.”
Jonathan Lassman, managing director of VAR NTS said the tool would work well for volume players.
“It is obvious that e92plus is trying to get into the volume space, which is no bad thing and this will be a great tool for those players. But the sales teams of the smaller specialist resellers are often out at meetings and do not have the time to log onto a web site.”
