HP ProCurve has confirmed the appointment of Darryl Brick as its new UK country manager.
The networking vendor has been without a figurehead in the UK since July when CRN revealed Jon Weatherall had quit his post with the firm. He had been with ProCurve since 1998, spearheading its UK operation for four years before leaving.
Alberto Soto Garcia, vice president and EMEA general manager of ProCurve, has carried out Weatherall's duties since his departure and stated at the time ProCurve would not rush to replace him.
"Speed is not a priority. The priority is to find the right leader and someone who can match Jon’s skills," he said.
After four months they have finally got their man.
Brick is currently enterprise server and storage channel sales manager at HP. He will start his new role on 1 December.
