Andy Dow today bounced back into the channel at former employer Westcoast.
Dow spent over a decade at the distributor before leaving to launch Dell’s UK channel business in November 2007. However, his stint at the hardware giant came to a sudden end last month as the vendor re-organised its European business.
Westcoast chairman Joe Hemani said he was delighted Dow had opted to resume his career at Westcoast, where he was previously commercial director. “Andy went to Dell with our blessing,” said Hemani. “He is a seasoned campaigner and I am always looking for people who can bring value not just to our customers but also to our suppliers.”

It is unclear what Dow’s new job title will be but Hemani stressed he returns at board director level.
Terry Betts, managing director of Dell Certified partner CCS Media, said: “I thought Andy did well at Dell and I wish he was still there. But Westcoast is also one of our suppliers so it is good that we are not losing him altogether.”
