Application data security vendor Imperva has moved to a two-tier model across Europe after claiming it has reached a "maturation phase" in its development.
In the UK and France, the vendor will serve its resellers through security distributor Exclusive Networks.
Paris-based Exclusive has been charged with doubling Imperva’s UK reseller tally to 10 within six months. It will also take control of training, technical, marketing and lead-generation services.

Roland Hamann, channel director at Imperva, said the change in model was necessary to cope with increased end-user demand.
“When we started we had to find opportunities. Now the opportunities are coming to us,” he said. “The need for compliance is growing.”
Rob Swainson, managing director of Imperva partner Blue Cube, said: “This is a good indication that the market has grown and that we have backed the right horse. And Exclusive seems keen and hungry.”
