3Com has thrown a sweetener to resellers targeting government and education accounts by offering them an extra 6 per cent discount.
The networking vendor’s Sustain initiative - which covers its full range of products - is open to all partners across EMEA that win business in any realm of the public sector.
Steve Johnson, UK country channel manager at 3Com, said the programme was designed to feed off the pressure on governments and schools to cut IT expenditure.
“The Sustain programme addresses some of the barriers to public sector marketplace entry like price sensitivity,” he said.
“The availability of an additional 6 per cent discount makes 3Com networking solutions even more attractive in a price-competitive marketplace.”
