Remote monitoring and management software vendor HoundDog Technology is offering a referral sweetener to its resellers to drum up more word-of-mouth business.
Through the Rufferral Programme, partners can net 20 per cent of the HoundDog
revenues made in the first year by any IT support company or reseller they have
referred. The company said that 20 partners have signed up in the first week.
Collin Mackenzie, business development manager at HoundDog, said: “We noticed
many of our customers were referring us to others, so this is like a present to
say thank you for that.”
HoundDog is also due to launch a 30-day Try Before You Buy programme this week, which will be free of charge to channel partners if the customer opts not to invest.
