Specialist retail distributor Gem has partnered with California-based Livescribe, as part of the vendor’s international expansion strategy.
Livescribe’s Pulse Smartpen is a computer in a pen that captures handwritten notes and simultaneously records and links audio to the notes. Gem will sell the vendor’s Pulse Smartpens through its UK and Ireland channels.
Dean Van-Velsen, technology and product development director at Gem, said: “The Pulse smartpen is a new category-defining technology within the existing digital pen consumer electronics sector. We’re excited to be partnering with Livescribe and look forward to helping them quickly establish a successful brand in the UK.
