Virtualisation vendor Centrix Software has poached two of VMware’s senior managers to add weight to its enterprise sales team.
Alan Campbell, former strategic account manager at VMware, will head up the enterprise sales team at Centrix, while his former colleague, Rob Tribe, joins the firm as lead systems engineer.
Campbell has more than 20 years of industry experience and will be responsible for helping Centrix grow its enterprise customer base.

Tribe will have a more “multi-faceted” role, said Centrix, drawing on his technical and pre-sales background to help the company improve its engagement with resellers.
The appointment of Tribe and Campbell follows on from Lewis Gee joining Centrix from VMware earlier this year in the role of vice president of worldwide sales.
Gee said he had worked alongside both Tribe and Campbell during his time at VMware and was confident that they would be a “good fit at Centrix.”
“Getting Rob and Alan on board, with their level of virtualisation expertise, is a really positive move for us,” added Gee.
