Distributor EntaTech has signed a deal with Bigred Solutions to distribute bigredbox, its SMB- and consumer-focused line of servers.
Jon Atherton, commercial group vice-president at EntaTech, said Bigred – a relatively recent market entrant – has been building a loyal reseller channel in recent times.
“They have, I believe, got to the stage where they want to work with a particular distributor,” Atherton said.

An EntaTech deal gives Bigred access to consumers, such as gamers, via group ISP EntaNet and reseller buying groups Integra, Brigantia and NBG, he said.
Three staff have been given reseller training on the product so far but over time about 50 EntaTech staff are expected to qualify to sell bigredbox, he said.
However, Atherton would not release further details on the deal or potential customers and markets, saying terms and market potential were confidential.
