Westcon Group has signed an exclusive partnership deal with ISP Easynet almost a year after the partnership was first mooted in CRN (CRN Online 7 April).

The deal will see Easynet's entire portfolio offered to resellers through Westcon Convergence and soon to be offered through Westcon's Comstor and Security business units in the near future.

David Grant, general manager at Westcon Convergence, said: "Services are an integral part of a convergence-oriented value proposition. With the UK’s second largest network, Easynet will help us to open up new business opportunities and deliver a greater solution sale opportunity for our customers, carrying with it greater margin opportunities.”

Alan Ryan, global alliances director at Easynet, said: “Westcon and Easynet share a common philosophy in that we really take time to understand our channel partners and work with them to achieve their business goals. We are very pleased to start providing services to the channel through Westcon and with our combined experience and expertise we can make a very positive impact to the channel.”
